Snoop Dogg has 'nothing but love for Donald Trump' despite savagely mocking him

A duo we never thought we’d see getting on, rapper Snoop Dogg and former POTUS Donald Trump. Fans will remember the two meeting in 2016 at Comedy Central’s Roast of Donald Trump, and the roasts didn’t stop there. A year later the rapper featured a clown dressed as the former President in his remix of the BadBadNotGood song Lavender.

However, it seems like the music star has now changed his tune, and in a recent interview, said he had “nothing but love” for the former President.

Snoop Dogg ‘has nothing but love and respect’ for Donald Trump

While the 77-year-old was in office, Snoop didn’t hold back on his negative feelings towards the President at the time. However, in a surprising U-Turn, he has “nothing but love and respect” for Trump as he runs for office again in the 2024 elections.

“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me,” the Drop It Like It’s Hot singer told The Sunday Times.

The music star then went on to refer to the time Trump “pardoned Michael Harris,” the co-founder of the star’s label, Death Row Records. Harris had spent 30 years behind bars before he was pardoned.

“So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, continued.

The rapper has never shied away from speaking his mind about Trump via his music. At the time of the Lavender video release, which featured the “Donald Trump clown,” his lawyer demanded an apology from the star.

However, that didn’t scare the 52-year-old off, who carried on expressing his feelings. Most recently, in 2020, he referred to the 45th U.S. President as a “f****** weirdo” in a social media video.

In 2018, he was seen exclaiming: “F*** the president,” as he stood outside the famous White House.

But it looks like it’s now all water under the bridge.

The rapper’s daughter shares update after ‘severe stroke’

A couple of weeks ago, Snoop Dogg’s daughter took to her Instagram to reveal that she had suffered a ‘severe stroke’ at the age of 24.

On Wednesday, Cori revealed she was out of the hospital, as she posted a picture of her living room, with a banner that read: “Welcome Home.”

Now, she’s sharing warning signs with her followers via social media, telling fans to “listen to your body.”

Her symptoms before the stroke included blurry vision, nausea, fatigue, and “really bad headache pain” on the right side.

“Listen to your body for real,” she told her followers. “I’m glad I’m still here and able to tell my story.”
