Salma Hayek has been giving in her latest vacation snaps as she’s been showing off her toned bikini bod, however, apologized to fans in her most recent post, where she “felt like a butterfly.”
The Hollywood actress has spent the past week on a tropical vacation, to celebrate her 57th birthday, and has showcased all her looks along the way. In her most recent post, she can be seen dancing around in a stunning butterfly bikini, as she talks about ‘letting go.’
Salma Hayek ‘apologizes’ to fans as she dances in ‘sensational bikini’
Taking to her 26.5 million Instagram followers, the movie star posted a video of herself twirling around in a multicolor bikini and matching robe.
The star shared a cryptic post in the caption, as she wrote: “Life is a series of phases with beginnings and ends, that’s why sometimes it’s ok to feel like butterflies even if we let a part of us go…”
Although most of the thousands of fans who commented were loving the Instagram reel, one fan commented: “It’s always low-quality videos [heart eye emoji]”.
Salma Hayek, who’s no stranger to posting bikini pics, replied: “Sorry, they are done with a phone by whoever is around not professionally but with a lot of love.”
However, it seems as if the user wasn’t ‘hating’ on the video, and loved it as much as other fans, as she responded: “You don’t have to say sorry to me mam.. You look beautiful even in 144p videos, it’s beyond the camera.”
Fans think she looks ’20 years younger’
Despite the comments on the ‘low quality’ it seemed many fans didn’t notice as they were too busy admiring how young Salma looked. The star recently celebrated her 57th birthday, but fans say she doesn’t look a day over 30.
“Is this 57th look?!! Damn, you’re forever 30 mama!” exclaimed one.
“Must be nice being that freaking drop-dead gorgeous,” penned one fan.
Another exclaimed: “Dancing into a new era! I feel this!”
“Absolutely beautiful,” simply wrote another.
Salma Hayek is ‘happy to be alive’
Earlier on in the week, the newly turned 57-year-old sizzled in a red bikini as she shared her gratitude for reaching another year over on the ‘gram, where she stated she was “happy to be alive”.
In the caption, she penned: “I’m so happy to be alive and so profoundly grateful for all the blessings!!!! My beloved family, my precious friends, my health, my work that keeps me going, my empowering team, my relationship with animals & nature, and the love of all my loyal fans. Happy 57th birthday to me!!!”
The Frida star is one to make a big deal out of birthdays, as she recently honored her billionaire father-in-law in an adorable birthday message for being her ‘guiding light’.
François-Henri Pinault is the father of Salma’s husband François Pinault, who she has been married to since 2009.
The two welcomed their only child together, Valentina Paloma Pinault in 2007, when the two were engaged. At the time, Salma was 41 years old. She also has three step-children from François’ previous relationships.
