Pink fans concerned for the singer as she cancels concert shows suddenly

April 2024 · 3 minute read

Fans have shared their worry for Pink after she suddenly postponed upcoming concert shows due to “family medical issues.”

The star had to make the difficult decision to cancel her two concert gigs this week. The celebrity informed followers that the issues required “immediate attention”. It also comes a few weeks after the music star fell ill herself and was told she couldn’t perform under strict doctor’s orders.

Pink forced to cancel upcoming concert shows

In a statement posted to her Instagram account yesterday, Pink gave the news to concert-goers.

She wrote: “I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed.

“Live Nation are working on future dates to reschedule. Family medical issues require our immediate attention.”

She wrote in the caption of the post that she sent her “sincerest apologies” and sent her love and well wishes to fans.

“I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused,” she penned. “I am sending nothing but love and health to all.”

Fans share concerns for the singer

Taking to the comments, fans shared their concerns for the So What singer, who is currently embarking on her Summer Carnival world tour, and her family.

One fan wrote: “Family and Health ALWAYS come first. NO WORRIES. You’re in my thoughts” and added a red heart emoji.

Another person commented: “Sending lots of love and praying everyone is all right” with prayer hands and a red heart emoji.

A third said: “I hope your family heals quickly. I’m sending only positive thoughts to you and yours.”

It comes as the star had to postpone a previous show last month. On September 29, the singer explained she was suffering with a “bad sinus infection”. The doctor had told her not to perform over her health, which left her “disappointed”.

Pink has always been open with her fans

Pink has never shied from sharing personal details about her life with her loyal followers. She previously spoke about partying hard between the ages of 12 and 15 which led to her having a drug addiction.

She said she overdosed at the young age of 15. Although she didn’t end up going to the hospital, it was “the last time” she ever did drugs.

“It wasn’t to the point of going to the hospital, but I remember getting up off the floor in the morning – and that was the last time I ever touched a drug again.”
