Jennifer Lopez, aka JLo, and Ben Affleck may be in paradise on the island of St Barts, however, it looks like their relationship may not be, as they were caught having a ‘tense looking conversation’ in the shopping mall.
The celebrity couple made their way back to each other in 2021, after ending their first relationship and engagement in 2004. Initially, they were together for two years. However, it hasn’t all been easy, as Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about how their first relationship ‘left them with PTSD‘. Now, it looks like the two were having a disagreement whilst on vacation.
JLo and Ben Affleck have ‘heated discussion’ in St Barts
The couple was spotted out shopping on the French-speaking Caribbean Island, but it looked like something was annoying Ben Affleck as they arrived at a jewelry store.
The Hollywood actor could be seen raising his eyebrows, and raising his hands above his head in what looked like a tense conversation with his wife.
JLo appeared to stand there listening to him, whilst looking around the area. However, it didn’t seem to last too long, as the supportive husband was then seen snapping a pic of the music star.
She stunned in a cropped white bandeau, which she paired with a pink flowy floor-length skirt, perfect for the hot weather. The 54-year-old posed for the camera held by Ben, as she held her hair up, showing off her gorgeous outfit and figure. They then engaged in a hug and kiss, so it looks like all is well now.
It’s unclear what the ‘heated conversation’ was about, but it’s not the first time the two have been caught in a ‘disagreement’.
Most famously, Bennifer sparked rumors of trouble in paradise during the Grammy Awards in 2023, whispering something to his wife and looking rather grumpy.
However, he opened up about the moment shortly afterward, telling The Hollywood Reporter it was a “husband and wife thing”.
“They were framing us in this shot, but I didn’t know they were rolling. I leaned into her and I was like, ‘As soon they start rolling, I’m going to slide away from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor.’”
She goes, “You better f****** not leave,” he revealed. Despite online assumptions, the Gone Girl actor revealed he did in fact have a good time at the event.

Despite what’s been caught on camera, it looks like the two are heading into 2024 on a positive page, as they went into the New Year with their arms around each other, watching the fireworks displays through the window.
The Jenny From The Block star posted the adorable video onto her Instagram story, with the song True Companions playing in the background.
“They are very beautiful, real companions,” wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
