Ciara has announced she’s pregnant, expecting a third baby with her husband Russell Wilson. The newborn will be the star’s fourth child and her third with her husband.
The couple have been married since 2016 and share a daughter Sienna Princess Wilson, 6, and son Win Harrison Wilson, 3 together. Ciara also has a son Future Zahir Wilburn, who she shares with her ex, Future.
Ciara announces pregnancy
Taking to her almost 35 million Instagram followers, the star posted a black and white video, embracing her baby bump by the pool, which she captioned:
“You look at me like that again, we make another kid…You my heart I’m your rib”. Her song, How We Roll with rapper Chris Brown can be heard playing in the background.
The couple has been very open about wanting more kids together. In March 2022, when guesting hosting the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Russell asked his wife if they could have more babies, to which she responded: “We definitely can.”
Fans say the star’s pregnancy ‘gives them hope’
Fans of the music star rushed to congratulate the Level Up singer on her announcement.
“Being a single parent of 1 then finding your soulmate and having 3 more with him is beautiful you give me hopeeee,” penned one.
“Ciara’s bounce back after babies is so impressive! Congratulations” penned another.
“Naw! Ciara has THE WOMB OF GOLD!!!!!,” exclaimed another.
Another penned: “Now that’s how you announce a pregnancy. Omg!!!!”
Ciara and Russell Wilson’s relationship explored
The couple first met at a basketball game at the start of 2015 and made their first public appearance a month later at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Cut to March 2016, and the couple were engaged, getting married in Cheshire just four months later.
Their first child, Sienna Princess Wilson was born in April 2017, with their second, Win Harrison Wilson born exactly three years later.
Another three years on and the couple have announced their third!
