Each year, celebrities go all out and absolutely kill the Halloween costume game. This year, Christina Aguilera has sent social media into a frenzy by dressing up as her Burlesque co-star, Cher.
The music stars both starred alongside each other in the 2010 film, as Tess and Ali, and now the Genie in The Bottle singer is taking a trip down memory lane. It’s clear Christina Aguilera knew what she was doing with her Cher Halloween costume.

Taking to her 9.4 million Instagram followers, Christina posted a range of pictures and vids of her costume, because let’s be honest, this needed more than just one.
In one of the videos, the 42-year-old can be seen showing off her curves in statement fishnet stockings, whilst wearing a black bodysuit with chains.
Xtina can be seen lip-syncing to audio from the movie, of herself asking Cher which dance routine she wants to see, to which she responds: “Wagon Wheel Watusi.”
In the caption, the star penned: “Tess & Ali 4EVER.”
Posting a picture of her costume in a separate post, the Aguilera paid homage to her co-star, who she called “the OG trailblazer.”
“On my favorite day of the year it’s only right to turn back time and tribute the OG trailblazer @cher,” she penned.
“Cher’s message through her music and style has left a permanent mark on the world and to this day, I still can’t believe I had the opportunity to work with such a legend!!!!
“No one could ever fill the shoes of the great & powerful Cher. The love and respect I have for you is endless,” she concluded.
Burlesque fans go wild over the throwback costume
As expected, Christina sent fans wild over her iconic costume, and we can safely say, she won Halloween with this one.
